5 Ways to Make Time for Your Fitness

discipline & consistency nutrition recovery training

You work from 9 to 5, have to pick up the kids from school, cook dinner, do laundry, and mow the lawn.

So how do you get in shape if you don't have time to workout?

Here's the secret.

You need to MAKE TIME for it.

If you have the time to scroll through Instagram or watch Netflix, you can definitely squeeze in a workout.

Here are 5 ways to make time for your fitness.

1.  Wake Up an Hour Earlier.

Set your alarm 1 hour earlier and start your day off with a workout. Even if it's 30 minute every day, that's 15 hours of exercise a month that you wouldn't otherwise get. It add's up quickly and you'll have more energy throughout the day.

2. Meal Prep

Preparing your meals in advance will give you extra time to workout during your busy day! On top of this, you're more likely to stay on track with your nutrition if you have some grass-fed beef and a sweet potato waiting for you to devour after that workout.

3. Move Your Body on Your Lunch Break

Your lunch break is the perfect time to get your body moving. Get a workout in, go for a walk or practice meditation. You'll come back feeling more energized and focused for the rest of your work day.

4. Do It with Your Kids

Kids love to move! Go on a family walk, do some yoga, or toss a ball outside with them. You'll get some exercise in and more importantly will help them build healthy habits.

5. Make It Social

Instead of going out for dinner or drinks, why not hit up a yoga class or go for a hike with your friends or significant other? You don't need to be stuffing your face with food to have quality time with the ones you love. Do something active together!

Life gets busy. But, if you schedule in your workouts and make them a part of your daily routine, it will allow you to be more consistent.

Bottom line - MAKE TIME for your fitness and PRIORITIZE your health.
