In honor of all these sick releases, here's something to sip on while I drop some nuts on your chin.

Nuts On Yo Chia

This is a Papa Swolio approved smoothie to smash down after a killer workout or to fuel you through a busy day! It is low in carbohydrates and rich in protein, fibre, healthy fats and antioxidants.    

Ingredients: 

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 scoop collagen peptides (or vegan protein)
  • 6-8 ice cubes

Directions: 

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. 

Variations: 

  • Keto / Low carb: remove the banana
  • Paleo: remove the collagen protein
  • Vegan: remove or substitute the collagen protein with a vegan alternative.
